Unconventional
In January of 2021, I was invited by Local Pearblossom Artist and Town Council President Chris Minsal, to help beautify the kindergarten playground of Pearblossom Elementary School. I, along with a few other amazing artists had a section of wall that we could make our own. My mural titled “Unconventional”, depicts a large Venus Flytrap surrounded by lots of dreamy clouds. “Unconventional” is about the joy and excitement about learning new things through unconventional and non traditional means. Theres more than one way to learn about something that interests you, and I think thats a lot of fun! Later on, I decided to add a glowing dragonfly to the piece, and I think it just ties everything together. Enjoy!
